Dr Chris Hollis

Chris has been working in the local area for the last 10 years. He has a natural curiosity with key medical interests in Men’s Health, Skin Health, Preventative Health and Chronic Disease Management. With two children now in their teenage years, he also has extensive personal and professional experience in Children’s Health. Committed to continued learning, Chris has recently completed a Diploma of Musculoskeletal Medicine and continues to develop his interest in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Conditions, with a focus on functional improvement.
Chris completed an undergraduate Bachelor of Science with Honors before qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, all at the University of Queensland. After 10 years practicing, he followed his passion to study Medicine at Deakin University in Victoria, graduating in 2012.
After completing his medical degree Chris returned home to Queensland where he undertook his hospital training at Redcliffe, Caboolture and Ipswich Hospitals before entering consultant training, qualifying as a General Practitioner in 2019.
Most recently, Chris has worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Moreton Bay Region and continues his work with homeless youth and their families.
Outside of work you might find him on a basketball court playing, coaching or managing his sons team, or chasing tennis balls for his daughter while she plays.
